QuadTech, Inc. will present its extensive portfolio of print quality and waste saving solutions at PRINTPACK INDIA 2017 (hall 14, stand G43), held 4-8 February at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. Among the featured solutions are four new technologies introduced at drupa 2016, which promise consistently high color quality, reduced production time, waste reduction, and dramatically lowered consumable costs.
Register Guidance with MultiCam® TRIM™ is a highly economical, advanced color-to-color register and cutoff control solution for newspaper printers. Designed for single width, single folder newspaper applications, MultiCam TRIM offers a streamlined set of features for simplified operation, which reliably delivers perfect register for high quality print at a low cost.
ColorTrack™ with InkControl™ is a unique new color management software for flexo and gravure packaging applications. The “color expert in a box” software automates fast, accurate press-side correction of ink formulations. By simplifying color management workflow, the software provides direct connection from customer input to ink recipe creation to press-side correction. Without any hardware modifications to the press, ColorTrack dramatically reduces the number of ink corrections needed to achieve accurate, optimal color.
Color Measurement with DeltaCam™ makes advanced, inline spectral measurement affordable to individual Packaging print houses. For about the cost of a color register system, package printers can utilize accurate, automated L*a*b* measurement on film, paper or board—ensuring that all printed product is within their customers’ color specifications. The M1, M0, ISO compliant technology enables printers to reduce time and waste while confidently maintaining color throughout the roll—without the need to wait for a roll change to measure with a handheld device.
QuadTech’s modernized Inspection System sets a new standard for fast, easy detection of print defects. The advanced 100% inspection technology has been “reimagined from the ground up,” based on user feedback, to create a better process for the detection and disposition of defects. The result is a powerful, remarkably intuitive tool that is built on QuadTech’s popular ICON™ integrated platform. “We are very excited to bring the latest press automation technology to the Indian market,” says Hemant Desai, QuadTech’s General Manager of Operations and Sales in India. “We think the industry is more than ready to embrace these highly economical new solutions to simplify their workflows and achieve new levels of print quality.”
Other products in QuadTech’s portfolio include the Autotron™ 2600 with ClearLogic™ register control system, Color Control with AccuCam™, Register Guidance and Ribbon Control with MultiCam, Color Measurement with SpectralCam™, Web Viewing System, and PDF Verification.
