“Once we invested the time to build our templates, Amfortis gave our team the freedom to drop jobs in and render,” explains Niskach. “We do a brief check, and everything is there. Our folders are set up with the die and item numbers in the job ticket. Operators plug that information into Amfortis and simply drop the PDF into an automated hot ticket, which correctly places the products on the sheet, including all marks such as station numbers, ink eaters, color bars, and more.”
“We also reduced mix-up errors by investing in a digital scanner for our die cutter,” notes Niskach. “Amfortis automatically adds a QR code, and that bar code is scanned on every single sheet. If a sheet has the wrong code, production stops. Amfortis eliminates producing box A in the box B print run, reducing remakes while
saving time and money.”
