Corrugated Synergies International (CSI) has ordered a second Highcon Euclid IIIC digital cutting and creasing machine six months after the installation of their first machine, a testament to the high impact of digital technology to the production of corrugated packaging. At the Visual Impact PrePrint (VIP) facility, located in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, the Euclid IIIC has been working alongside the EFI Nozomi digital single-pass presses in a multiple shift production mode, proving the benefits of agile digital production.

One of the growing trends today regards packaging and the fast increasing demand for mid-web solutions. Listening to HP, PRATI has designed the DIGIFAST20000 to process mid-web requirements. DIGIFAST20000 matches, in semi-rotary mode, one single printing repeat of the HP Indigo 20000 letting the printers optimize the clicks cost.

Foils, acrylic or composites can optimally be cut with the CO2 laser cutters. The many automation possibilities of the eurolaser machines will also be of interest to plastics processors. At the fair, eurolaser will demonstrate its M-800 system with shuttle table cutting acrylic and foil.
