As flexo gains a bigger share of the flexible packaging market at the expense of gravure, the confidence behind the process keeps growing. Encore Packaging Solutions is set to boost capacity at its Peterlee site with the addition of a new state-of the-art die-cutter from BOBST.

Flow Cosmetics, a Finnish natural cosmetics company, has selected paperboard from Metsä Board, part of the Metsä Group, as its packaging material of choice, for its innovative range of shampoos, body and face soaps.
Bar-shaped cosmetic products are ecological to use as well as to transport and store. MetsäBoard Natural FBB was selected for the packaging board for its visual appearance, lightness, and ecology. In addition, the uncoated surface of the paperboard has a pleasing natural look and feel.

Energy project "Future Energy Plant" in the home stretch
The commissioning of the ultra-modern boiler is a milestone in the course of the largest project in the history of the Nettingsdorf paper mill with an investment sum of around 134 million euros.
