The annual event, held alternately in Brussels and Chicago, seems to have little to do with the general exhibition fatigue that has gripped the printing industry in relation to traditional major events. After the last PRINT was held in Chicago at the beginning of October, and other trade fairs in recent years have already disappeared from the calendar, the future of Labelexpo, which celebrated its 40th anniversary, is assured. 38,903 visitors and 693 exhibitors found their way to the exhibition halls. CDP, the international non-profit organisation, has once again recognised Metsä Board, a leading European producer of premium virgin fibre-based board and a member of the Metsä Group. Metsä Board received an A- rating in both CDP's water and forest programmes. The Finnish company also received an A- rating in CDP's Supplier Engagement Rating. This rating assesses the company's efforts to manage fossil carbon dioxide emissions and integrate the supply chain in the fight against climate change. Earlier this year, Metsä Board was also nominated for CDP's Climate A-list for the fourth consecutive year.

BOBST hosted an Open House at its new Flexo Center of Excellence at Bobst Bielefeld on 13 February 2020, giving attendees the opportunity to experience the entire flexo process from start to finish.
The Competence Center at Bobst Bielefeld’s has been extended to include a pre-press room, meaning it is now a fully comprehensive Center of Excellence for the flexo process, specifically for Extended Color Gamut (ECG) for wide-web CI flexo presses. PaintExpo 2020: IST Metz presents a wide range of UV solutions for industrial coatings
