Mimaki, a leading manufacturer of wide format inkjet printers and cutting machines, will be showcasing innovative solutions for printing on a wide variety of media at FachPack, the trade fair for packaging, processing and technology, scheduled for 25 to 27 September in Nuremberg, Germany. Mimaki will be exhibiting in Hall 8, Stand 8-301 at the show, in partnership with Ernst Mendel GmbH. Visitors to the Mimaki stand will see innovative workflow automation solutions, as well as stunning examples that demonstrate the possibilities enabled by Mimaki’s advanced printing and cutting technologies. The company will also hold a technology demonstration of a new silver ink that will enable users to create metallic effects and colours on substrates such as wood, glass, metal and more.

Memjet announces that OEM partner New Solution has incorporated Memjet technology into its NS LION label printer. The NS LION is an end-to-end, label printing solution that coats, prints, laminates, die cuts, slits and finishes labels in a single inline process. The NS LION enables converters to easily incorporate digital technology and produce small volumes of high-quality, customized labels for a fraction of the capital cost of digital or flexo alternatives.

Leibinger presents entry-level JET One model for marking and coding food packaging, beverages and consumer goods

At the Fachpack 2018 trade fair, Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG is presenting the JET One – a new industrial inkjet printer for marking and coding food packaging, beverages and consumer goods (Hall 4, booth 4-303).

While digital printing is already firmly established in the label and commercial printing sector, flexible packaging continues to be a challenge: An economical and stable digital printing process has yet to be developed. W&H, machine builder and specialist for flexible packaging, has reached a first milestone in its development project with a machine concept for a new digital printing machine. Now the technology leader starts onboarding partners, including leading inkjet printhead manufacturer Xaar. The digital printing machine from W&H is based on piezo inkjet technology.

UniNet, a worldwide technology-driven OEM providing on-demand digital print technology, will be showcasing a wide range of products from their iColor® Printing Solutions product line at the upcoming Labelexpo Americas.
