These days, new trends in consumer goods emerge overnight. They are born in social media videos on TikTok, YouTube or Instagram and drive demand for new products within a very short time. Social commerce is the name given to this combination of social media experience and shopping.

The pet population boomed across many continents during COVID-19 lockdowns as many of us spent our working days at home. Combine this with a population that’s increasingly knowledgeable about food and ingredients and we find ourselves in a position whereby pet owners are demanding more from their pet food.

Dow (NYSE: DOW) and LVMH Beauty, a division of LVMH, the world leader in luxury and home to 75 iconic brands, will collaborate to accelerate the use of sustainable packaging across LVMH’s perfume and cosmetic products. This collaboration would enable both bio-based and circular plastics to be integrated into several of the beauty multinational’s product applications without compromising functionality or quality of the packaging.

As part of the creative experience strategy, the Nuremberg company Staedtler has dedicated its back-to-school campaign for 2021 to the topic "nature". The PoS production created for this by Panther Display GmbH & Co. KG was awarded the German Packaging Prize in the goods presentation category for its outstanding performance. The company has once again received an award for inspiring and unusual displays.

After two years of trade fair cancellations due to the pandemic, LEONHARD KURZ finally wanted to bring the future of surface finishing back to life. The intention to bring the industry together in person for a major event finally gave rise to the KURZ LABEL WEEKS - an in-house trade fair lasting several weeks on the premises of the company's headquarters in Fürth.
