An increasing number of countries are interested in the high technology of the Italian narrow web printing press for labels and flexible packaging by Lombardi Converting Machinery.
After the recent entry in the Indian market, Lombardi Converting Machinery, Brescia-based company specializing in narrow web flexo presses for labels and flexible packaging, signed a distribution agreement with Zonten in Shanghai for distribution and assistance of their machines in the Chinese market.
The agreement with the Chinese distributor was formalized during the Labelexpo Asia Shanghai in early December 2015 and has now paid off with the sale of the first flexo press to a major label manufacturer of the industrial city of Hangzhou.
The approach between Lombardi and Zonten occurred during the LabelExpo Europe in Brussels, where Mr Xiaoyu Lin visiting the Lombardi's booth, was impressed by the advanced technology and in particular the accuracy of the register of the new Synchroline, the latest generation of the narrow web flexo presses produced at Lombardi.
A demonstration of the technological superiority of the machines Lombardi for demanding markets, is the fact that Zonten, one of the most prominent companies in China in the field of supplies for the label printing and packaging, was looking for a new brand standing up for quality and reliability to be introduced in the Asian market. Brand that Mr Xiaoyu Lin found in Lombardi.
“Discovering Lombardi, a family company, firm and solid - says Xiaoyu Lin – was for us the most important success of 2015. When at Labelexpo Europe we saw the two Synchroline presses at work, we were sure we have found the solution to what we were looking for to meet the needs of the industry in China and the Far East.”
"We are proud to have concluded an agreement with a company as prestigious as Zonten - said Massimo Lombardi, foreign sales manager - and we are sure that to the first machine which will be installed in Hangzhou in the coming months, other presses will follow in the region and not only on the important market Chinese."
"After the successes of recent years in Europe and North Africa - said engineer Claudio Lombardi, founder and president of Lombardi Converting Machinery - and our presence in India that dates back to 2014, to be present on the important Chinese market, encourages us to continue in our technical and commercial strategies that have been put in place step by step for years with dedication and seriousness."
