DuPont Advanced Printing (booth 5403) is pleased to announce the newest additions to its product portfolio, DuPont™ Cyrel® EASY plates and the new Cyrel® FAST 2000 TD thermal plate processor. The new Cyrel® EASY technology platform simplifies the platemaking process by building the flat top digital dot directly into the plate, resulting in increased productivity and consistency as well as enhances the print quality and productivity in the press room. The new Cyrel® FAST 2000 TD provides outstanding quality and productivity from a narrow web size (25”x30”) to a wide web size (42” x 60”) for both tag & label and flexible packaging applications.
With its new ergonomic and compact design, the Cyrel® FAST 2000 TD features several cutting-edge tools and technologies that contribute to higher plate quality, easier workflow and improved machine serviceability. Plates processed in the 2000 TD processor have exceptional cleanout and relief depth uniformity while providing excellent fine line and dot holding. It’s a perfect fit with the Cyrel® EASY plate portfolio.
Cyrel® EASY plates are based upon a new polymer that produces higher ink transfer and higher resolution, plus customer testing has shown significantly higher solid ink density (SID) without compromising on highlights. Cyrel® EASY plates are available for FAST/thermal and solvent processing and in engineered and smooth surfaces. Thermally processed Cyrel® FAST EASY EFE, engineered surface, and Cyrel® FAST EASY EFX, smooth surface, are based upon a completely new polymer that delivers higher ink transfer and resolution, all in less than an hour. Cyrel® FAST EASY EFX and EFE are ideally suited for extended gamut printing and are well on the way to becoming the industry quality benchmark.
