Dinnington, Rotherham, location to manufacture beverage, dairy closures

UNITED CAPS, an international manufacturer of caps and closures, today announced it will be constructing a new manufacturing plant in Dinnington, Rotherham, as part of the company’s ‘Close to You’ strategy.

Taking advantage of the opportunity provided by two impressive BOBST CO 8000 coating lines currently in its production facility, waiting to be dismantled for shipment to the new owners, Bobst Italia is holding a two-day coating event taking place at its site in San Giorgio Monferrato, Italy, on 25 and 26 July 2018. The lines are dedicated to silicone coating for release liners and film barrier coating applications respectively.

As a BOBST partner company, Baumer hhs exhibited its latest innovations for glue application and quality control in folding carton production at COMPETENCE 18, an in-house trade fair held by the Swiss group of companies at its Competence Centre in Mex in early June. BOBST has six folder-gluers at this demonstration site, all of which are equipped with the latest technology from Baumer hhs.

Visitors to COMPETENCE 18 will see the full range of BOBST expertise in printing technologies displayed together for the first time at the event. BOBST produces solutions for the printing of labels, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated boards with the most comprehensive technologies (e.g. Gravure, Flexo and Inkjet incl. multi process printing).
