Using Scodix, TPC Packaging, the First Scodix E106 User in North America Collects Nine Honors at PPC 2018 Competition

At the 75th North American Paperboard Packaging Competition, TPC Printing & Packaging (Chattanooga, TN) was recognized for outstanding design and production for five different projects, collecting a total of nine different awards. TPC has been a Scodix UltraPro with Foil digital enhancement press user since May 2017, and has recently become North America’s first Scodix E106 system user.

Improved user experience through UPM Raflatac's cutting edge smart label solution for e-commerce

UPM Raflatac has successfully completed the first pilot of its new smart label solution, RafMore for e-commerce. These smart labels use Internet of Packaging (IoP) technology to log and share information about packages during the delivery process. The new e-commerce solution was piloted on UPM Raflatac's shipments on various routes throughout Europe. The pilot demonstrated that the solution provides full interoperability between supply chain stakeholders without requiring heavy IT integration.

GEW has the solution at ICE Europe 2019

Industrial compostability certification for Metsä Board’s ground-breaking eco-barrier paperboard

The new eco-barrier paperboard, MetsäBoard Pro FSB EB1, which is manufactured by Metsä Board, the leading European producer of premium lightweight paperboards, has recently achieved the industrial compostability certification complying with DIN EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 standards. The certification is issued by DIN CERTCO and the testing was carried out by ISEGA laboratories.
