A new cash flow to local farmers

Local farmers’ ability to sell biomass to Iggesund Paperboard’s paperboard mill at Workington will return over 1.5 million pounds annually to the local agricultural industry. The initiative has created a totally new source of income for close to 200 farms in Cumbria and Scotland. It was recently given Rushlight Bioenergy Award. American printing company Steinhauser purchased and installed an MPS EF 530 flexo press. The new press marks the first MPS press for the fourth generation Kentucky-based woman-owned business.
