Graficon and Grafotronic are delighted to announce a significant expansion in the production capabilities of their valued customer, ATB Systemetiketten GmbH, based in Herne, Germany. Building on the success of their first Grafotronic DCL2 350, installed in 2018 for digital finishing and converting, ATB has now chosen to invest in two additional Grafotronic machines.

This latest investment includes an additional Grafotronic DCL2 350 and a Grafotronic HI3 570, designed for efficient processing of large rolls into finished small rolls. With these enhancements, ATB Systemetiketten strengthens its competitive edge while meeting the increasing demands of its production environment.
A Successful Partnership Since 2018
The original Grafotronic DCL2 350, installed six years ago, has delivered outstanding reliability, precision, and efficiency. These benefits, combined with Graficon and Grafotronic’s ongoing support, reaffirmed ATB’s decision to continue leveraging Grafotronic’s state-of-the-art technology.
The new DCL2 350 enhances ATB’s digital finishing capabilities with cutting-edge upgrades for even greater efficiency. Meanwhile, the HI3 570, with its impressive 570 mm web width, seamlessly integrates into ATB’s operations, enabling flexible conversion of large rolls to small rolls—crucial for meeting growing market demands.
“The decision to invest in additional Grafotronic machines underscores the importance of trust and long-term partnerships in our industry,” said Sandro Trenna, Area Sales Manager for Northern Germany at Graficon. “We are proud to support ATB Systemetiketten in achieving their production goals.”
