Emerson Expands Automation Portfolio with Afag Feeding and Handling Solutions

Afag is now officially part of Emerson. As a result, Afag's feeding and handling solutions will be integrated into Emerson’s extensive automation portfolio. Starting October 15, 2024, all content on Afag.com, including product documentation, data, and certificates, will be migrated to Emerson.com under the AVENTICSTM brand. This migration will streamline Emerson’s comprehensive automation offerings, making it easier for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to access the solutions they need in a single location.

Valmet to deliver an automatic dewiring line to Södra Cell Värö in Sweden

Valmet is to deliver an automatic dewiring line to Södra Cell’s pulp mill in Värö, Sweden. The delivery will connect to the existing pulper feed system and safely handle the reject bales from the baling line. The new equipment is estimated to be taken into operation in autumn 2025.
