Empty medicine containers with original labels that are filled with ineffective or harmful substitutes and re-introduced into the market by counterfeiters pose a risk to patients and a challenge to pharmaceutical manufacturers. With the Flexi-Cap security concept Schreiner MediPharm has developed a label-cap combination that protects the integrity of the original containers and helps to prevent their illegal reuse by means of clear, irreversible first-opening indication.
