Electric drives are becoming increasingly important in injection moulding, particularly with regard to energy efficiency. However, hydraulic drives are not without their advantages, providing powerful injection capacities and cost efficiency. The ideal solution is to combine both drive systems, as the Allrounders from Arburg’s new generation of machines successfully demonstrate: the Allrounder 470 H anniversary machine is characterised by low acquisition and operating costs, a reduced carbon footprint and an energy requirement equivalent to that of electric machines.

Shiner Beer and Ball Corporation have won the fourth annual Colored by INX Can Design Contest. Their design entry for Shiner Texhex Bruja’s Brew IPA was determined to be the best of the five finalists in voting conducted by an independent panel of judges and the public through INX International’s Facebook and LinkedIn social media pages.

Voting for the fourth annual Colored by INX Can Design Contest will be held for three days beginning this Wednesday, June 14. An independent panel of five judges has selected the five finalists and the can contest designs can be viewed online. The winning entry will be announced on the INX International website and social media platforms on June 22.
