With Thimm's innovative click'n'display configurator, standard displays can be configured and adapted to individual requirements in just a few steps. Right from the start, customers get a clear visualisation of their desired display and the various customisation options. Thimm was also able to implement the optimal display solution for the Bremer Spirituosen Contor in a short time with the help of the self-developed tool.

The creation of a standard display is done in just a few steps with click'n'display: First, information about the product, such as size and weight, as well as the type and number of products to be placed, is entered. Based on this data, the tool suggests different display variations from the standard range. "In the configurator, we start directly with a vivid simulation of the display, which can then be individually adapted to the products and specifications of the customer," reports Michael Weber, Head of Corporate Strategy + Marketing at the Thimm Group. Optical factors such as the required communication area on the display as well as economic factors such as the optimal use of space are included in the development of the standard display. The data of the finished display is automatically transferred to the CRM system and triggers the further development process. Thanks to the lean process, a sample of the desired display can be sent to the customer after just one day.
The practical tool offers uncomplicated and quickly available display solutions and thus added value for all customers of the Thimm Group. This is also the case for Bremer Spirituosen Contor: The customer is a specialised intermediate wholesaler of spirits, champagne, sparkling wine and wine as well as an importer of international premium spirits. In addition to distributing well-known brands, the company also sells special exclusive and own brands itself in the trade. For the positioning of its products at over 3500 retailers, the company relies on standard displays from Thimm. With the help of the click'n'display configurator, the Bremen-based spirits retailer was able to choose from various visualisations of the existing display options right from the start. The customer was particularly impressed by the fact that adjustments to the display are illustrated and their effects on space utilisation efficiency and costs are shown directly. Click'n'display thus enabled a transparent and lean implementation of the desired display solution.
The positive feedback from the many customers who have already used click'n'display is also reflected in the experience of Thimm's sales staff, reports Michael Weber: "The demand for standardised displays in all possible application and quantity ranges is enormous. With the configurator, we can optimally illustrate the wide range of variation possibilities to our customers, even for standard solutions - completely digitally. In this way, we can use our consulting competence even without a personal appointment and involve our customers in the development process of their displays. This is an enormous advantage, especially in times of a pandemic."
The company wants to build on this success and further expand the configurator developed in-house at Thimm: For example, more modules for standard displays are to be added to the portfolio and the visualisations of the products and displays are to be designed more customer-specific.
