Global Graphics Software announces today that Durst Group has selected the Harlequin RIP® and the ScreenPro™ screening engine to optimize data throughput in Durst Symphony™, the new Durst workflow. Symphony will drive the Durst Tau 330 digital and packaging presses, including Durst’s new Tau 330 RSC, that will be shown at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels ( 25 – 28 September, Durst booth 8B26 in hall 8).

UK company, MeadCo, today launches ScriptX 8.0 to the printing and packaging industry. ScriptX is essential for reliable printing from Internet Explorer - removing unnecessary pop-up dialogue boxes, setting consistent headers and footers, ensuring barcodes are readable and labels are to scale. With Microsoft now only providing technical support and security updates to the most current version of Internet Explorer, MeadCo has moved to provide ScriptX 8.0, designed specifically for use on Microsoft's newest edition, IE 11.

Visitors to the Global Graphics stand at Labelexpo will see a host of special features for digital labels and packaging printing in the Harlequin RIP®, some of which have been introduced during the past year as the company expands its portfolio of press vendors supplying this sector of the market.

German software manufacturer OneVision Software and printing press manufacturer Screen GP Europe are announcing their collaboration in the field of label printing. The seamless integration of OneVision's automated label printing software solution DigiLabel with Screen's Equios Workflow reduces throughput times and enables savings in time and costs.
