Aniken Graphics, a joint venture between Hamillroad Software, a UK based prepress software company, and Apex International, a global leader of anilox and metering products, has today announced that Reproflex Scandinavia is approved to supply flexographic printing plates, screened with Bellissima DMS, to the Scandinavian market.

Spanish company DUCPLAST S.L. is the latest converter to switch plates for flexible packaging printing to extended colour gamut production with Equinox from Esko (www.esko.com). The company implemented this new approach in partnership with repro house COFLEX. DUCPLAST, located in Valencia, was founded in 1990 and has 50 employees. The company is a subsidiary of Grupo Dulcesol, leading brand in food products. COFLEX, founded in 2004, provides flexographic plates to flexible packaging companies.

Improved quality and increased production with excellent colour conversion
Belgium based high quality prepress specialist Athena Graphics adds Esko Equinox to its portfolio to complete their Advanced Prepress workflow, an innovative end-to-end solution for brand owners and packaging printers. Esko Equinox creates colour conversions for extended gamut printing and eliminates the need for spot colors, making production faster, more efficient, cost effective and reliable.

In a bid to stay a step ahead of the competition and ‘future proof’ its business, UK trade printer Hine Labels has invested in a Screen Truepress Jet L350UV+LM press, its second Screen UV inkjet press to-date. Looking for additional capacity to serve growing demand, owner Bill Hine signed the deal at Labelexpo last month, making it the second sale of the Low Migration L350UV+LM press in the UK.
