In addition to the Association for Plastic Recyclers (APR) recognition in North America in 2021, SimpliCycle is now recognized by RecyClass in Europe as fully compatible in the PET, HDPE, and PP recycling streams
Aptar Food + Beverage, a global leader in consumer product dispensing and active material science solutions, today reported that it has received approval for its SimpliCycle TPE-S valve from RecyClass as fully compatible with polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PET), and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) recycling streams.

At the K 2022 trade fair, a particularly innovative application in terms of cube-mould technology can be seen at Arburg stand 13A13, where an automated three-component Allrounder Cube 1800 will be producing a functional component from PP, TPE and POM using an 8+8+8-cavity cube mould from partner Foboha.

“High print quality has been a given in flexible packaging for years, but that hasn’t been the case in corrugated, where product protection has mattered more than brand promotion. But now, more and more brands are demanding complex, multi-color graphics, whatever the substrate — which is good news for flexo post-print, not so much for litho preprint.”
