FINAT, the international association for the self-adhesive label industry, has reshaped and rebranded its annual congress to reflect greater industry collaboration and cooperation. Under its new name, the European Label Forum (ELF) will take place June 11-13 2015, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The annual event and meeting point for the world's release liner industry – the AWA Global Release Liner Conference & Exhibition 2015 – takes place on March 18-20 2015 in Denver, Colorado, USA. All of a sudden, a $40.00 designer top is relegated to clothes you wear on cleaning day.
Maybe, that is a little extreme, the label can be cut out successfully with care, as to not ruin a garment. But, then look at it from the manufacturer's viewpoint. He spent time designing the label, he spent money having it printed and sewn in, and it represents his brand. Then the customer cuts it out and throws it away. Not good!
There is no specific time when clothes were used by people. Experts only knew that humans are the remaining kinds of primates and they used clothes in order to give them warmth and protect their body from any forms of harm. Clothing is very important.
