Packaging supplier Margarethner Verpackungsgesellschaft MVG was established in 1980 as a carton and corrugated converter focused on short-run production. Besides Displays, the company also began producing high-end, shortrun point-of-purchase displays printed on these materials. Efficient and economical
With a fully automated production line consisting of a Zünd G3 digital cutting system with BHS, MVG can now fulfill any order efficiently and economically, no matter how long or short the required production run. “We have been working with Zünd cutting technology for samplemaking and short runs for many years. At the very latest, once we completed final testing at Zünd's demonstration facilities and headquarters, it was clear to us that we would opt for another Zünd cutter,“ explains Andreas Hajos, Technical Director at MVG. “The Zünd G3 cutter with automatic board handling delivers the highest level of performance with minimal personnel requirements. We were also impressed with the modularity and flexibility of the Zünd G3 cutting system, not to mention the simple operation and intuitive user interface of Zünd Cut Center ZCC. There was no shortage of reasons why we came to the conclusion that, ultimately, only Zünd production equipment would do the job for us“.

Unattended production
The BHS completely automates both loading and unloading of materials and reduces personnel requirements to a minimum. At its highest level of automation, the system allows for autonomous and unattended production overnight. In case any operator intervention is required, ZCC automatically sends out a notifcation via email.
