Follmann will present its homogenously and fast-melting PSA-adhesives for the first time at FachPack
Following its takeover of the British adhesive manufacturer Sealock at the end of April this year and the resulting expansion of its product portfolio, the Minden-based company Follmann will present its new PSA-adhesives for transport and shipping packaging at this year's FachPack (Hall 8, Stand 8-319) in Nuremberg.
Owing to the boom in internet commerce and the growing variety of products, the requirements for transport and shipping packaging are also increasing, as they must protect the products and at the same time simplify handling for the packers. When producing
packaging with self-adhesive components, it is further important that the packaged goods reach their destination safely, even when the outside temperature changes. With its homogeneously and fast-fusing PSA contact adhesives, Follmann has recently been offering its customers a diverse range of permanent and resealable adhesives. The solvent-free adhesives with 100% solids are characterised by a very high initial tack, excellent fluidity and very good low-temperature flexibility. The excellent adhesion also leads to low consumption and thus high efficiency.
The advantages of Follmann PSA-adhesives at a glance:
- Homogeneous and fast-melting
- Solvent free with 100% solids
- High-performance and individually tailored to special requirements and needs
- Cost-efficient production through optimal machine-running properties
- High tack even at low temperatures
- Wide range of adhesion to different materials
- Large temperature frame in the final product
“The PSA-adhesives are an ideal addition to our existing range of adhesives, and we are pleased to present them to our customers and other interested trade fair visitors at FachPack for the first time”, explained Sebastian Drewes, Tape + Carton Sales Manager at Follmann.
