With more than 2000 palletisers installed worldwide and 50 years of experience, Newtec Bag presents the new Aurum line

Aurum is a proud name for a machine. A self-confident appearance that Newtec Bag is making for the Interpack. But not only the appearance is right. The figures do too: the new development from France (Alsace) is perfectly tuned for palletising granules, microgranules, pastilles, pellets and flakes in bags from 5 to 50 kg. Ideal for all types of bags (FFS, open-mouth, valve bags). The output is also right: up to 2800 bags/hour can be perfectly palletised and deposited.
The French subsidiary of Haver & Boecker has worked intensively on the Aurum: the peripheral equipment of this production line has been improved and made more robust overall. The motors developed with SEW Usocome are designed in the new version so that energy can be recovered during braking. Conserving environmental resources and keeping an eye on energy costs: These were two important aspects for the R&D department during development.
Another focus: user-friendly operation. The Aurum is equipped with an industrial PC of the latest generation, which actively supports the employees in positioning the bags after a production stop. In addition, maintenance is facilitated by the free accessibility of all elements - even in the palletising tower.
On the ground, the teams are also safe: thanks to hooks on the lift table and safety pins in the palletising tower, as well as presence detection, which stops production to prevent accidents during maintenance work.
Three capacities are available: the Aurum Blu with a capacity of 1900 bags per hour, Aurum Bianco with 2300 bags per hour and Aurum Rosso with 2800 bags per hour.
There are many uses for the machines: the company can offer complete lines from bagging to load securing, being the leader in France in petfood, wood pellets and potting soil.
Newtec Bag was founded in 1972 by Fördertechnik Hamburg and has been a packaging specialist on the international market for more than 50 years. Newtec Bag achieves 70 percent of its turnover in exports. Only ten percent of the systems produced are standard. All other orders are custom-made for the customers and are implemented according to their wishes and needs in close consultation.
Newtec Bag will be exhibiting together with its parent company at the Interpack trade fair in Düsseldorf from 4 to 10 May in Hall 12, Stand A27. The other German subsidiaries will also be exhibiting at the stand: Aventus, Behn+Bates, Feige and Quat²ro.
